Conservation holidays / conservation volunteering are a great way to see the world, whilst at the same time contributing to global conservation. Global conservation programs offer volunteers the opportunity to get involved with a diverse array of projects, all of which help to protect and preserve planet Earth, and all of it's inhabitants.

Volunteer organisations do not discriminate against age and most do not require that you hold any academic qualifications. All they ask is that you have a passion for nature and animals. You contribution to these projects may take various forms - you might be required to help in the monitoring of endangered species in Africa. You may be asked to feed and care for an orphaned Elephant in Thailand. Your work might take you to the depths of the Indian ocean, exploring and protecting precious marine environments. It all depends on the country and project that decide on.

Protecting our planet's endangered animal species and ecosystems is essential. We need to take action and promote global awareness on conservation issues now, so that our future generations can continue this action. However, if we fail to do this, in a generation or two, it will be too late and our inaction will surely result in global catastrophes. At this time, however, it will be too late to fix the problems we have caused, as all of our planet's resources will have been exhausted.

Act now and make a difference!
